Unpretentious rolls with various fillings can become a pleasant addition to the festive table. Such hot or cold appetizer will not be overlooked even for the most selective gourmets.
It is necessary
- - 2 eggs;
- - 1 tbsp. l. butter;
- - 1/3 Art. flour;
- - 1 tbsp. milk;
- - 1 clove of garlic;
- - salt;
- - pepper;
- - 5 g of parsley;
- For filling
- - 200 g chicken breast;
- - 100 g cream cheese;
- - 3 pickled cucumbers;
- - 5 g of parsley.
Instructions
Step 1
In a small ladle, melt the butter over medium heat. Add flour and stir. Pour in the milk in small portions, stirring constantly (a regular whisk is best for this). Continue stirring over low heat until thickened (sour cream consistency).
Step 2
Remove from heat, cool, add salt, pepper, garlic (we recommend crushing one clove through a press, chop one finely with a knife). Add the yolks to the cooled mixture.
Step 3
Whisk the whites until they peak and combine with the mixture. Put the finished dough on a baking sheet with parchment (to decorate the roll, you can put sprigs of greens on the parchment in a chaotic manner). Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Step 4
Finely chop the boiled chicken breast or grind it with a blender. Add cream cheese, chopped herbs. Chop the cucumber and herbs, depending on preference, and also add to the chicken. Alternatively, cut into slices and place on top of the filling.
Step 5
It is better to spread the finished filling on an uncooled crust, since rolling into a roll in a cold state can lead to cracks and breaks. After the roll is rolled up, put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Cut into portions before serving.
