The usual casseroles include noodles or potatoes, but the rice casserole is also delicious. Try to cook it yourself and you will enjoy the results.
It is necessary
- - 300 g chicken fillet;
- - 300 g of any frozen vegetables;
- - 1/2 tbsp. round grain rice;
- - 3 eggs;
- - 200 milk + 2 tbsp. l.
- - 1 slice of stale white bread;
- - 1/2 onion;
- - 1 clove of garlic;
- - 1 tbsp. l. butter;
- - 2-3 tbsp. bread crumbs;
- - salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Fill the rice with water and cook over the fire. Cook until cooked through. Rinse it off and set it to cool.
Step 2
Defrost the vegetables, preferably directly in the bag, so they will not lose their appearance. Throw defrosted vegetables in a colander to remove excess moisture.
Step 3
Pour a slice of white bread with two tablespoons of milk. Leave the bread to swell, and then squeeze out the excess milk slightly.
Step 4
Grind the chicken fillet with a blender and combine with swollen bread, salt and pepper. Knead the minced meat and form into small meatballs.
Step 5
Grease a refractory mold with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs on top. Now you can put the ingredients in the prepared baking dish.
Step 6
Put the finished rice in the first layer. Then spread the thawed vegetables evenly on a layer of rice. Place the meatballs on top of the vegetables, and fill the cavities between them with chopped onions.
Step 7
Cover everything with beaten eggs and milk. Don't forget salt and pepper. Place the dishes in the oven for 45 minutes and bake the casserole at 200 degrees.
