Fans of Harry Potter will love the original sweet gift in the form of a book of monsters. Cooking such a cake is a fascinating process, during which the main thing is not to break loose and not to taste a tasty treat before the festive feast.
It is necessary
- - 800 g biscuit dough $
- - 300 g cream (whipped butter with sugar);
- - 200 g of chocolate butter;
- - 140 g of mastic (white and red);
- - 3 tsp cocoa powder;
- - 4 chocolate pills.
Instructions
Step 1
We bake a biscuit, but not round, but rectangular. We cut it in two and leave it to cool.
Step 2
Coat the first (lower) biscuit with cream, put the second biscuit on top. Lubricate the cake with cream. We do not spend all the cream, since we need a part for decoration. We measure the linear length, width and height of the cake.
Step 3
Roll out white mastic on a dry surface. Cut out three strips to size - these will be pages. We make shallow cuts on each strip. Apply cocoa powder to each strip (with a brush) so that the strips imitate the pages of a book. We set pages on the sides of the cake.
Step 4
Roll out the red mastic and cut out the tab-tongue. Place it on the side of the cake.
Step 5
Mix the remaining cream with the chocolate butter until smooth.
Step 6
Fill the decorating bag with the resulting cream. We paint realistic wool with cream.
Step 7
Put a chocolate dragee on the center of the cake - these will be the eyes. Dragee can be either chocolate or any other color - a matter of imagination. Draw thick eyebrows with a cream. We put the cake in a cool place for several hours, after which it can be served and delight the sweet tooth.
