Risotto is very common in Northern Italy. This rice dish began to be prepared a long time ago - the first mention of it occurs in the 19th century. For this Italian dish, take round rice, which is rich in starch. It would seem to be an ordinary dish, nothing special, but it can be prepared with different ingredients, for example, tiger prawns and champagne. With such a dish, you will definitely surprise not only relatives and guests, but even yourself.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - 800 ml of chicken broth;
- - 400 g of arborio rice;
- - 300 g of tiger prawns;
- - 200 ml of dry white sparkling wine;
- - 100 ml cream 35% fat;
- - 50 g each of butter, parmesan cheese;
- - 1 onion;
- - 3 cloves of garlic;
- - a bunch of thyme;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - pepper, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the tiger prawns, fry in olive oil along with thyme and chopped garlic. Pepper, salt as you like.
Step 2
Chop the onion, fry in a saucepan in olive oil and butter. Add rice, stir.
Step 3
Next, pour champagne into a saucepan, add chicken broth, simmer, stirring occasionally. So bring the rice until cooked. As the broth is absorbed, you can add it to the rice.
Step 4
Remove the saucepan from the stove, add butter, pour in the cream, add chopped parsley and grated parmesan, pepper and salt. Stir the dish.
Step 5
Place the finished risotto on a platter, top with the tiger prawns and serve hot.
