Pizza Margarita is perhaps the most popular pizza in the world. Preparing it at home is not difficult.
It is necessary
- Dough:
- - 1 glass of whole wheat flour;
- - 2 glasses of ordinary wheat flour of the highest grade;
- - 5-6 g of dry fast-acting yeast;
- - 0.5 tsp fine salt;
- - 3 tablespoons olive oil;
- - 180 ml of warm water.
- Filling:
- -5-7 sprigs of basil;
- - 2-3 tbsp. tomato sauce;
- - 2 tomatoes;
- - 150 g mozzarella cheese;
- - 1 tbsp. olive oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Sift the flour through a sieve. Mix the wholemeal flour with ordinary wheat flour. Add fast-acting dry yeast and salt, mix everything.
Step 2
Add olive oil to warm water, then pour the mixture into flour. Knead a dense dough.
Step 3
After kneading the dough, roll it into a ball and leave it to rise in a warm place for 1 hour. After the time has elapsed, as the dough rises, roll out the dough into a round layer 5-6 mm thick.
Step 4
Put the pizza base on a greased baking sheet.
Step 5
Fill the tomatoes with boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Then cool with water and peel.
Step 6
Cut the tomatoes into flat, thin slices.
Step 7
Grate the mozzarella cheese, cut the basil leaves into medium pieces.
Step 8
Spread the tomato slices evenly on the dough, trying to cover the entire area of the pizza with the tomato slices.
Step 9
After placing the tomatoes, sprinkle them with an even layer of chopped basil. Salt.
Step 10
Sprinkle the whole area of the pizza with grated mozzarella cheese on top of the tomatoes and basil.
Step 11
We place the pizza in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes. After that, we serve it to the table.
