Sausages in dough are a favorite dish of many. Preparing this dish is not difficult, as it might seem at first glance, especially if you use ready-made puff pastry. If you want to bake sausages with homemade dough, then follow the recipe below.
You will need:
- 500 grams of premium flour;
- 250 milliliters of fresh milk;
- one egg;
- two teaspoons of dry yeast;
- a teaspoon of salt;
- two tablespoons of sugar;
- six to seven tablespoons of vegetable oil.
First, knead the dough. Pour flour into a deep wide bowl, after sifting it, make a small depression in the flour and pour milk warmed up to 40-45 degrees into it.
Pour the yeast into the milk in a thin stream (it is necessary that they completely disperse), also add salt and sugar to the milk.
Wait about a minute (let the yeast disperse well), then add the egg, butter and start kneading the dough with a spoon.
As soon as it becomes difficult to stir the dough with a spoon, pour a small amount of flour onto the work surface and put the dough on it. Knead the mixture until it stops sticking to your hands. It is worth noting that at this stage the main thing is not to "hammer" the dough, as it will turn out to be tasteless during baking.
From the finished dough, without waiting for it to "rise", form "sausages" about a centimeter wide and about 10 centimeters long.
Peel the sausages from the film and carefully wrap each in the dough (the dough must be wound on the sausages in a spiral).
Lubricate the bottom of the multicooker bowl with oil (you can use any oil) and place the sausages in a single layer in the bowl. If possible, try not to touch the sausages, as the dough will increase in size during cooking.
Put the bowl in the multicooker, close the lid of the kitchen appliance and set the baking mode for 40 minutes. After 20 minutes, turn the sausages over and leave to cook.
Put the prepared sausages in the dough into a dish and let cool slightly. The dish is ready and ready to be served.
