Fondue is a national Swiss dish, it is also loved in Italy and France. Traditionally, it is made from several types of cheese, alcohol, nutmeg and garlic. For the correct preparation of this dish, it is advisable to have a special set for its preparation at home. It includes a fondue bowl and burner to keep the temperature constant.
It is necessary
- - 150 g parmesan;
- - 150 g mozzarella;
- - 150 g of hard French cheese;
- - 2 tbsp. l. milk;
- - 3 tbsp. l. dry white wine;
- - 2 tsp corn flour;
- - 1 tsp lemon juice;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - cubes of dried bread.
Instructions
Step 1
Grate the fondue bowl with crushed garlic. Pour milk into it and bring to a boil. Mix the wine thoroughly with flour and drip lemon juice into this mixture. Grate all three cheeses on a fine grater.
Step 2
Pour the cheeses into boiling milk and, stirring constantly, heat over low heat until a homogeneous mass is formed. While heating, add wine and flour. Put the pieces of bread on skewers and dip in the fondue. The cheese mass should be viscous, wrapped around the bread.
Step 3
The entire procedure for preparing cheese fondue can be done on the stove in a regular saucepan. Then pour it into a fondue bowl and put it on the burner, thus keeping the temperature of the mass constant.
