Venetian veal liver is a dish from Italian cuisine. An ideal side dish in this case would be tender mashed potatoes. The liver takes only 30 minutes to cook and looks like a real festive treat on the table.

- - 50 g flour
- - 600 g veal liver
- - 500 g potatoes
- - 250 ml of milk
- - basil
- - salt
- - ground black pepper
- - 20 ml lemon juice
- - lettuce leaves
- - 150 g cherry tomatoes
- - 50 g capers

Step 1
Boil the potatoes and puree them. To make it tender and fluffy, add warm milk and melted butter to the potatoes during cooking.
Step 2
Cut the liver into small pieces or medallions. Thoroughly rub the workpiece with salt, black pepper and lightly dip in flour. Place the liver in a skillet and fry in vegetable or olive oil until tender.
Step 3
Do not drain the oil remaining after frying the liver. It can be used to make a sauce. Add butter, capers, chopped basil and cherry tomatoes to the contents of the skillet.
Step 4
Arrange the liver pieces and mashed potatoes on a plate. Top with cherry tomato and caper sauce. For decoration, you can use lettuce leaves or fresh herbs.
