Cooking cakes for the Caprice cake

Ingredients:

- granulated sugar - 1 glass;

- honey - 2 tablespoons;

- chicken eggs - 2 pieces;

- flour - 3.5 cups;

- butter - 50 grams;

- drinking soda - 1 teaspoon;

- cocoa powder - 1 tablespoon;

- vanilla sugar - 1 sachet.

Wash the eggs thoroughly and break them in a glass saucepan. In a small bowl, melt honey until transparent, add softened butter. Beat the eggs with vanilla sugar with a mixer or blender, pour the egg and butter mixture there and mix.

Place the pan in a water bath, heat the contents over low heat, stirring constantly, until the ingredients are completely dissolved. Cool the finished mixture, add cocoa powder and flour sifted on a fine sieve in advance. Stir well so that there are no lumps and knead the dough.

The consistency of the dough should resemble sour cream, otherwise the cakes will be harsh.

Divide the finished dough into six identical pieces and roll each of them with a rolling pin into thin layers. Use a sharp knife to trim the edges to shape the rolled slabs into a circle. Grease a round baking dish with vegetable oil and bake in the oven all the cakes in turn for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked. Bake the rest of the dough from trimming the cakes on a separate sheet - they will be used for sprinkling.

Ingredients:

- butter - 150 grams;

- chicken egg - 3 pieces;

- whole milk - 2 glasses;

- granulated sugar -1 glass;

- walnuts - 100 grams;

- vanilla sugar - 1 sachet;

- cocoa powder - 1 tablespoon.

First, carefully separate the egg yolks from the whites.

In order to separate the white from the yolk, make a puncture in the shell with a thick needle, drain the white, and the yolk will remain in the shell.

Combine prepared yolks with vanilla, sugar and slowly add sifted flour. Add cocoa powder and mix thoroughly. In a small saucepan, place the milk on low heat and bring it to a boil. Pour the yolk mixture into boiling milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Turn off the heat, cool the mixture a little and, adding butter there, beat with a mixer until smooth.

Thoroughly coat the cooled cakes of the Caprice cake with the prepared cream and lay on top of each other. Grease the topmost crust and sides of the cake, sprinkle the cake with chopped nuts and crumbs on top, make the pattern with whipped cream (spray). Put the finished cake in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours so that the cakes are soaked and acquire a delicate taste.
