A very tasty milk dessert. For its preparation, you can take both fresh and canned cherries. It is prepared quickly, only the pudding must first cool down thoroughly.
It is necessary
- - 1 can of canned cherries or 400 g fresh;
- - 500 ml of milk;
- - 40 g of sugar;
- - 30 g starch;
- - 3 tbsp. spoons of honey;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Instructions
Step 1
Transfer the cherries to a colander, let all the juice drain into a container - it will still come in handy for us. If you took fresh cherries, then rinse them first, remove a pit from each berry.
Step 2
Mix 30 grams of starch with a little milk, stir until smooth. Bring the rest of the milk to a boil, adding cinnamon and liquid honey to it. Pour starch into honey milk in a thin stream, stir and add cherries, cook until thick, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Pour cold water over a medium-sized mold, immediately pour hot milk mixture into it. Wait for the pudding to cool, then refrigerate for 8 hours.
Step 4
Now mix some cherry juice with 1 tablespoon of starch. If you took fresh berries and there is no syrup from canned cherries, then take purchased cherry juice. Boil the rest of the juice for 5 minutes with the addition of cinnamon and sugar. Then add the starch and cook a little over medium heat. The result is a cherry milk pudding sauce.
Step 5
Place the cooled pudding on a serving platter, sprinkle generously with cherry sauce and serve immediately.
