Such beef is able to surprise any fussy with its taste. The meat turns out to be incredibly tender, and the onion gravy is amazingly tasty. Try to cook.
It is necessary
- - 500 g of beef,
- - 150 g onions,
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil
- - salt to taste,
- - 3 peppercorns,
- - 3 bay leaves,
- - dry spices to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Defrost the meat in cold water, change the water several times during defrosting. If you use a chilled piece of meat for cooking, then rinse it well, cut off the fat. Cut the meat into small pieces.
Step 2
Peel two large onions. Cut one onion along the fibers, in small feathers. Cut the second onion into quarters of rings. With this cut, the first part of the onion will dissolve in the gravy, and the second part will remain intact.
Step 3
Fry pieces of meat in a dry frying pan, stir occasionally, evaporate the liquid.
Step 4
After the moisture has evaporated, add vegetable or sunflower oil, fry the meat until golden brown.
Step 5
It is the turn of the onion, add it to the pan, stir and fry until the onion is soft.
Step 6
Season the beef with spices and pour in 100 ml of water, stir, reduce heat to medium heat, cover, cook for 30 minutes. Do not forget to watch the meat, if there is not enough water, then you can always add it.
Step 7
Taste the meat; if it is soft and tender, remove the pan from the heat. Serve the meat with your favorite side dish or as a stand-alone dish. Garnish with herbs before serving.
