It is necessary

  • - Pine cones - 1 kg;
  • - Pine shoots - 1 kg;
  • - Sugar - 2.5 kg;
  • - Water - 15 glasses;
  • - Storage capacity.

Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to go to the forest and collect pine cones and shoots. It is advisable to do this from June 21 to 25. Cones should be unopened and no more than 4 cm wide. Shoots should be collected from those that grow from a central pine bud. At home, cones and shoots must be well washed with running water from dirt and dust.

Step 2

Pour the cones with cold water. Cover the shoots with sugar (1 - 1, 5 kg). Leave everything for a day.

Step 3

Boil the buds in sweetened water (use up any remaining sugar). When they are fully open, remove. Set the syrup aside.

Step 4

Add a liter of water to the infusion from the shoots, bring to a boil. Remove from gas and cool for 5 minutes. So repeat 3 times. Take out the shoots. Pour the broth to the liquid in which the cones were cooked. Mix well.

Step 5

Pour the resulting honey into a container and remove to a cold place. To avoid sugaring, 0.5 teaspoon citric acid can be added to it.

Step 6

Let the honey brew for 1-2 days. Consume 1 tbsp. spoon 2-3 times a day before meals. Such a product is very useful for combating colds (for example, flu or SARS).
