This jam is quite unusual due to its main ingredient - spruce cones. It is not only unusual in composition, but also has unique medicinal properties. Thanks to him, you can strengthen the immune system or heal the throat. Such properties were presented to him by phytoncide, which is contained in abundance in the tree itself and, of course, in its fruits - cones. It takes a long time to cook such a jam, but what a result!
It is necessary
- - young spruce cones - 1kg;
- - sugar - 1kg;
- - water - 3 liters.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the cones, put in a saucepan and cover with water. So they are cooked for 4 hours.
Step 2
After they have cooked, the pan must be cooled for 12 hours, then the cones must be removed from the water, which has become similar to pink jelly. Add sugar there and cook until the jam thickens, that is, until tender. The finished jam resembles honey in color and resin in smell.
Step 3
Arrange the jam in jars and close them with lids. Turn upside down and let cool. The jam is ready!
