The highlight of French cuisine lies in its exquisite desserts. One of them is creme brulee. It is impossible to describe its uniquely delicate taste in any words, you just need to taste it. Here's a very simple recipe for this incredible treat.
It is necessary
- - milk - 900 ml;
- - eggs - 6 pcs.;
- - sugar - 225 g;
- - wheat flour - 2 tablespoons;
- - zest from two lemons;
- - vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon;
- - cinnamon - 1 stick.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour 700 milliliters of milk into a saucepan that fits. After putting it on the fire, wait for it to boil, then add vanilla extract to it, as well as the zest removed from two lemons, and a cinnamon stick. Cook the resulting mixture for 5 minutes, no more.
Step 2
While the milk mixture is cooking, divide the remaining milk into two equal parts. Beat one thoroughly with the egg yolks, and the other with wheat flour.
Step 3
Pour the boiled milk mixture into a free, clean saucepan and add, while stirring thoroughly, whipped milk with flour and milk with egg yolks. Then pour 100 grams of granulated sugar there. Put the resulting mass on the stove again, cook, stirring continuously, for 10 minutes, that is, until the cream becomes thick.
Step 4
Distribute the resulting cream over the prepared bowls and place it in the refrigerator for 60 minutes in order for it to completely cool and cool.
Step 5
Use the remaining granulated sugar to make caramel for the crème brulee. To do this, pour it into a suitable saucepan, then put it on fire, then heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes - the sugar should melt and turn golden.
Step 6
Put the resulting caramel on a chilled dessert and send it back to the refrigerator for about 5 minutes. Creme brulee is ready!
