This exquisite dessert can also be prepared at home. The main ingredients for crème brulee are yolks, milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, flour and any flavoring, you can use, for example, lemon zest.
The recipe is for six servings. For its preparation, you will need 6 yolks, 900 ml of milk, 200 grams of sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, 4-5-centimeter sticks of cinnamon, 2 shavings of lemon peel and vanilla sugar. You need to take a saucepan, pour 700 ml of milk into it, add cinnamon, zest and vanilla sugar. Put the mixture on fire and bring to a boil. Boil the contents of the pot over low heat for about 5 minutes and then remove from the stove.
Milk can be taken in any fat content that you find in the store. A home product is also perfect. However, it is not recommended to use skim milk and baked milk.
Pour 100 ml of milk into a small container and beat together with the yolks until smooth. Slowly and thoroughly mix the remaining 100 ml of milk with flour and whisk well. Mix both masses and add to the hot milk removed from the stove.
The renewed contents of the pan should be stirred again and placed on the stove, over very low heat. Keep the mass on the stove until you notice how it begins to thicken. This will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Pour the cream that has turned out into molds or vases (6 servings), then put them in a cool place and wait until they cool.
While the prepared cream is cooling, proceed to an equally important process - the preparation of caramel. Take a small saucepan or small ladle, put sugar in it and put it on fire. The granulated sugar should turn brown and start melting. This process lasts about 5-10 minutes. At the end of it, you will find only cooked caramel in the pan.
The finished hot caramel should be poured into the same molds on top of the cream and also left to cool in a cool place. This is enough for 10 minutes. After the specified time, the dessert is ready to eat.
Store creme brulee in the refrigerator, covered with cling film. So it can lie for about a week and not deteriorate. Serve it so that the cream itself is cold and the caramel is still warm.
