  • For the test: 500 ml of milk, 4 tsp. yeast, 1300 g flour, 6 eggs, 200 g margarine, 250-300 g sugar, 300 g raisins
  • For glaze: 2 proteins, 100 g sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp. vanilla sugar, decoration

Instructions

Step 1

We take a deep bowl. We heat slightly the milk. Dissolve yeast in warm milk, add 500 g of flour, mix thoroughly. We put it in a warm place, for about 30 minutes, I put it near the battery. The dough should rise 3 times!

Step 2

We take the eggs out of the refrigerator, it is very important that the eggs are chilled. Separate the whites from the yolks, beat the whites with a pinch of salt into a foam.

Step 3

Add yolks, margarine to the dough, mix, add proteins, mix, add sugar, mix again, add the remaining flour, knead the dough. The dough should not stick to your hands. We leave in a warm place for 50-60 minutes, you can also put it near the battery.

Step 4

Rinse the raisins thoroughly, 3 times. Soak the raisins in warm water for 15-20 minutes.

Step 5

After the raisins have softened a little, add them to the dough, mix, put in a warm place. The dough should rise well at least 2 times.

Step 6

Now we are preparing the molds. Lubricate the forms liberally with oil. We spread the dough on 1/3 of the molds, cover with a towel, let rise a little. We put in the oven, preheated to 100 degrees, for 10 minutes. Then add to 180 degrees, bake until tender.

Step 7

Now we are preparing the icing. Beat the cooled proteins with sugar, do not forget to add vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt to the foam. The glaze is ready. The glaze should be applied to the cooled Easter cakes. When the glaze hardens, you can eat the cakes. Here is such a not at all complicated recipe, according to which I cook Easter cakes! Easter cakes are very tasty, and there are a lot of them. Accordingly, we save money by preparing cakes at home, without buying store-bought ones.
