Ricotta and tomato pie differs from others not only for its delicate and unique taste, but also for its festive look, and all thanks to its ingredients. Prepare this dish immediately. I assure you that you will not regret it.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - butter - 50 g;
- - egg - 1 piece;
- - baking powder for dough - 1 teaspoon;
- - flour - 200 g;
- - salt - 0.5 teaspoon.
- Filling:
- - riccot curd cheese - 250 g;
- - basil;
- - cherry tomatoes - 15-20 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
Combine butter in a separate bowl with salt. Grind the resulting mixture, then add baking powder, flour and an egg to it. Mix everything thoroughly and knead the dough.
Step 2
Take a round baking dish that is about 20 centimeters in diameter and brush it with butter. Then put the finished dough on it. Align it carefully and make bumpers for the cake. Place a piece of parchment directly on top of the dough, and sprinkle beans or dry peas on top of it. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees and send it to bake in this form for about 20-25 minutes.
Step 3
After the time has passed, remove the baked goods and remove the parchment and beans from it. Thanks to this procedure, the dough is evenly baked and not deformed.
Step 4
Combine cheese with basil. Transfer the resulting mixture to a blender and grind until smooth. If you do not have such a device, then just finely chop these products. Thus, the filling for the future cake turned out.
Step 5
Place the resulting filling on the baked crust. Spread it carefully over the entire surface and level it. Rinse the tomatoes thoroughly and divide each one exactly in half. Place it on top of the cheese and basil mixture, cut side down. The riccotta tomato pie is ready! Decorate with herbs if desired.
