Profiteroles - small choux pastry buns came to us from French cuisine. They are filled with a variety of fillings, both sweet, for example, whipped cream or whites, and savory with minced meat or mushrooms filling.
It is necessary
- - sugar - 500 g;
- - butter - 100 g;
- - flour - 250 g;
- - cocoa powder - 50 g;
- - vanilla sugar - 20 g;
- - milk - 900 ml;
- - cream - 250 ml;
- - vegetable oil - 50 ml;
- - water - 50 ml;
- - eggs - 7 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the yolks from the whites. Put butter in water and bring mixture to a boil over low heat. Add flour and mix everything. Remove the mixture from heat, add the egg yolks, stir the mixture and let the dough stand.
Step 2
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and put pieces of dough (about 10 g each) on it with a small spoon dipped in water. Place them at a great distance from each other. Bake in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Profiteroles should increase significantly in volume, acquire a golden color and a crispy crust. Place them in a deep dish.
Step 3
Mash the whites with sugar. Add milk, vanilla sugar and cocoa powder. Pour profiteroles with the resulting cream.
