Delicate and airy buns can give true delight to connoisseurs of sweet pastries. They literally melt in your mouth and become a wonderful dessert for tea drinking.
It is necessary
- - 210 gr. flour;
- - 60 gr. corn starch;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - 60 gr. powdered sugar (for dough);
- - 230 gr. butter;
- - a teaspoon of vanilla extract;
- - 110 gr. icing sugar for dusting.
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, mix flour, salt and starch, set aside.
Step 2
Beat butter and icing sugar in a mixer.
Step 3
Add vanilla extract and gradually add flour, continuing to knead a homogeneous dough.
Step 4
Cover the dough with cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 175C. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper. From the dough we form a sausage with a diameter of about 2.5 cm, cut it into equal pieces.
Step 6
Form balls from pieces of dough and put them on a baking sheet.
Step 7
We send the baking sheet to the oven and bake the buns for 12-14 minutes.
Step 8
Let the buns cool for about 5 minutes, and dip each in powdered sugar. Transfer to the wire rack and sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
