Ingredients:

  • 1 pear;
  • 150 g mozzarella cheese (hard variety);
  • Several lettuce leaves;
  • 2 tbsp. l. Brazil nuts (any other can be used).

For the sauce:

  • 100 g cranberries;
  • 50 g sugar;
  • 50 g lemon juice;
  • Lemon zest.

Sauce preparation:

  1. Pour 1 liter of water into a refractory container and put sugar in it, bring to a boil.
  2. Wash and sort the cranberries. Add them to the syrup and cover the container with a lid. Reduce the fire and simmer for 10 minutes, until the peel begins to burst on the cranberries. Stir occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat, grind with an immersion blender, add lemon juice and a little lemon zest, stir well. The sauce is ready.

Salad preparation:

  1. Wash the pear, cut into thin strips or grate with large holes.
  2. Cut the cheese into pieces too (optional). You need to choose a hard variety of mozzarella so that it can melt. This cheese is sold without brine. And pay attention to its shelf life, as it does not last long.
  3. Take a baking sheet, cover with foil. The foil must be laid so that the juice that the pear will let out does not flow out of it. Put the pear slices on it in a heap, put chopped mozzarella on top.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place the baking sheet in the oven at the very top. Bake for about 10 minutes.
  5. At this time, grind the nuts. Wash, dry and place lettuce leaves on a serving plate. You can choose any kind of salad.
  6. For 8-10 minutes, the pear in the oven gave juice, and the cheese melted. We transfer them to a plate with lettuce leaves. Top with cooked cranberry sauce and add chopped nuts. The dish is ready.
