Tiramisu is an Italian multi-layered dessert that includes cookies, chicken eggs, Mascarpone cheese, and coffee. Small variations of the recipe are possible, when some components are replaced with similar ones. Coffee, for example, can be substituted for cocoa or grated chocolate. Try making your own tiramisu with strong coffee with liqueur and chocolate.

It is necessary

  • - 4 eggs;
  • - 150 g of sugar;
  • - 500 g of Mascarpone cheese;
  • - 200 g of small biscuit cookies;
  • - 1 glass of very strong brewed coffee;
  • - 4 tbsp. spoons of liquor;
  • - 100 g of chocolate.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare two saucepans before starting this dessert. We will need them in the future for a water bath.

Step 2

Separate the yolks from the whites. Use a wooden spatula to mash the egg yolks and half the sugar. Place the yolks in a shallow saucepan and place in a water bath.

Step 3

While the yolks are in a water bath, they should be beaten and heated at the same time. This should be done until the mixture thickens.

Step 4

Once this has happened, remove the pan from the water bath and leave to cool. Add the mascarpone in small portions to the cooled mass, continuing to beat.

Step 5

The proteins must first be cooled. Whisk the cooled proteins with the remaining sugar, so that a thick foam forms. Trace the degree of foam density according to the following principle: it should not fall from an inverted spoon.

Step 6

Stir the protein and yolk masses. Add liqueur to coffee and stir.

Step 7

Dip the cookies one at a time in the coffee and place them on the bottom of the cake pan. Place a layer of egg and cheese mixture on top of the cookies. Then again cookies soaked in coffee and liqueur, and again a layer of egg-cheese mixture. Such layers must be alternated at least 3 times.

Step 8

Grate the pre-chilled chocolate on a fine grater. This will be the decoration of our dessert. Then refrigerate it for 5 hours. After that, the cake can be served.
