Recipe for shortbread cake with cottage cheese
This delicious and unusual cake is a great find for receiving unexpected guests or having a Sunday tea party with your family. To prepare it, the following products must be in the house:
- 500 g of cottage cheese;
- 1 pack of creamy margarine;
- 2 eggs;
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar;
- 1 package of semi-finished shortbread cake;
- vanillin.
First of all, prepare the pie layer. To do this, put creamy or cottage cheese grated through a sieve into a deep bowl, add granulated sugar, vanillin and stir thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Densely grease a heat-resistant form with creamy margarine and on the bottom of the form evenly grate half a pack of margarine on a coarse grater, which must first be well cooled. Pour half of the semi-finished shortbread cake onto the margarine layer and distribute it evenly over the entire mold. Smooth it out with a spoon, and slightly raise it at the side so that the curd layer does not touch the walls of the mold.
Put half of the curd mass on the powder of a sandy semi-finished product, distributing it over the entire form, but without touching the sides. On top of the curd layer, grate the remaining margarine on a coarse grater and also distribute it evenly over the entire curd layer.
Pour the rest of the semi-finished product onto the margarine. Straighten it again, slightly lifting it at the sides of the form. Spoon out the remaining curd mass, spreading evenly over the entire pan.
Grind 3-5 pieces of any cookie or half a glass of walnut kernels and sprinkle with the resulting crumbs. If there are no biscuits, it can be substituted with good quality vanilla breadcrumbs. As a last resort, you can take bread crumbs, but it should be borne in mind that the taste of the cake will be worse.
Place the curd pie in the oven for an hour and a half to bake at less than average temperature. The cake should bake well, but not brown. When removing the baked goods from the mold, tip it onto one dish and from it onto another. The powder should be on top.
