There is no family that does not have homemade cakes on the table from time to time. Making a cake using this recipe is very easy, and the household will certainly appreciate it.
Ingredients:
- Butter - 180 g;
- Eggs - 6 pcs;
- Finely ground wheat flour - 400 g;
- Granulated sugar - 160 g;
- Dry red wine - 200 g;
- Raisins (required without seeds) - 45 g;
- Dried apricots - 45 g;
- Prunes - 45 g;
- A mixture of nuts (cashews, pine nuts, walnuts, almond kernels) - 160 g;
- Mineral sparkling water - 100 g;
- Olive oil - 25 g.
Preparation:
- Heat dry grape wine to 60 degrees.
- Put all dried fruits in a bowl and pour over them with warmed wine. Leave to infuse for 2 hours.
- Put sweet butter and granulated sugar into a special bowl for beating. Slowly start whisking them with a blender.
- Without stopping whipping, add the contents of the eggs one at a time, alternating with the addition of flour.
- After all the eggs and flour have been added and beaten, add sparkling mineral water. Beat the dough with a blender for at least 5 minutes.
- Chop and mix all types of nuts in a small preparatory bowl. Add dried fruits soaked in wine to a bowl to chopped nuts and mix.
- Transfer the dried fruit and nuts mixture to the dough. Interfere.
- Put the resulting cake mixture into a greased and prepared baking dish, in which it will be baked. Put the cake in an oven preheated to 240 degrees for 80 minutes.
- Remove the baked cake from the mold and cut into portions only in a cooled state.
In the event that any ingredient from the listed dried fruits or nuts was not at hand, they can be replaced with what is available. For example, dried currants and peanuts. The main thing is that the weight limits of the product must be observed. Grape wine can be substituted for plum or cherry wine. As a last resort, you can use cognac instead of wine.
