Sweet squares are made from tender dough and dried apricots with prunes - it turns out very tasty. In addition, natural yogurt is added to the dough, and almond petals and ground cinnamon are added to the filling. This makes the squares even softer and more fragrant.

It is necessary

  • - 400 g of dried apricots;
  • - 200 ml of natural yogurt;
  • - 150 g wheat flour;
  • - 120 g of sugar;
  • - 100 g pitted prunes;
  • - 50 ml of vegetable oil;
  • - 1 egg + 1 yolk;
  • - 4 tbsp. spoons of milk;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of almond petals;
  • - 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, dry yeast;
  • - butter, salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse dried apricots, pour boiling water over for half an hour. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and oil on both sides. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar.

Step 2

Remove the dried apricots from the water, dry them, cut each prune berry in half. Spread dried apricots on a baking sheet, put prunes in between, sprinkle with almond petals, ground cinnamon.

Step 3

Beat the yolk and whole egg with the remaining sugar. Add flour, salt, yogurt, odorless vegetable oil. Mix well. Dissolve the dough in warm milk, combine with the flour mixture.

Step 4

Pour the dough on a baking sheet over the dried apricots and prunes, distribute the dough evenly. Leave for half an hour, let the dough rise slightly.

Step 5

Bake for 45 minutes at 190 degrees. Remove the finished cake from the oven and cool. Using a knife, separate the forms from the sides, turn over onto a dish. Remove the baking paper.

Step 6

Cut the cake into equal squares, wrap them in foil, fold into a picnic container. Thus, baked goods can be stored for quite a long time - up to 1 week.
