These spicy and original pancakes can be a good start to a new day. The salty dough has a pleasant dill aroma, and the tomato slices have a moist and tender consistency. It is not at all difficult to make pancakes with tomato slices, the main thing is that the tomatoes are of dense varieties.
It is necessary
- For five pancakes:
- - vegetable oil for frying - 2 tablespoons;
- - tomato - 200 g;
- - dill;
- - sour cream - 40 g;
- - flour - 50 g;
- - soda - 1/5 tsp;
- - salt - 0.5 tsp;
- - egg - 1 pc.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the tomato across into 1.5 cm thick slices. Beat eggs with sour cream, baking soda and salt. Add finely chopped dill and flour to the mixture. You will get a difficult-to-flow, thick dough.
Step 2
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil over high heat. Season with salt and pepper the tomato wedges. Place them on top of the skillet. Do not lay the slices tightly to each other.
Step 3
After a minute, turn the wedges over to the other side and reduce heat to low. Place the dough on top of the tomatoes to form pancakes.
Step 4
When the dough is browned at the edges, turn the dough over to the other side. Fry until tender. You can serve it slightly cooled with compote, kefir, milk, tea.
