It is necessary
- - 200 g wheat flour
- - 200 g sugar
- - ¾ tsp salt
- - 120 g butter
- - 400 g ripe cherries
- - 80 g dark chocolate
- - 1 egg
- - 30 ml of milk
Instructions
Step 1
Combine flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Add butter, cut into medium cubes. Rub everything into crumbs with your hands.
Step 2
Then pour ice water into a cup and knead the dough.
Step 3
When kneading the dough, do not try to make it homogeneous, let pieces of butter remain there, in finished form they will give the dough a pleasant and light flakiness. Wrap the collected ball in foil and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 4
While the dough is cooling, wash the cherries and remove the seeds from it, and cut the chocolate into medium pieces.
Step 5
Place the chilled dough on a floured table and divide it into 8 pieces. Roll each part with a rolling pin into a circle with a diameter of about 10-15 cm.
Step 6
Shake the egg with a fork and mix with the milk. Lubricate each circle with this mixture and sprinkle with a pinch of sugar.
Step 7
Put 5-8 cherries on sugar, and sprinkle with chocolate pieces on top.
Step 8
Lift the dough around the edges with your fingers and press it against the berries. Lubricate each biscuit with a mixture of egg and milk on the outside so that the dough does not break apart when baking, and sprinkle sugar on top again.
Step 9
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and brush with melted butter. Place the biscuits on the parchment and bake in a hot oven for 10-20 minutes until golden brown.
