Homemade hot ketchup is a great dish for barbecue or any festive feast. This ketchup is made with tomatoes and plums. Maybe that's why it tastes so good. And the warm autumn days allow us to make another harvest of tomatoes for the winter.

- - plums - 1 kg;
- - onions - 3 pcs.;
- - garlic - 1 pc.;
- - salt - 1, 5 tablespoons;
- - vegetable oil - 150 g;
- - red pepper - 1 tsp;
- - hops-suneli - 1 tbsp.

Step 1
Delicious tomato and plum ketchup is prepared on the basis of the most ripe vegetables. Process the tomatoes first. Make juice from them first. There are many ways to do this. I like the easiest way to process tomatoes into juice. To do this, cut large tomatoes and put them in a container, bring to a boil.
Step 2
After the tomatoes have simmered for about thirty minutes, turn off the heat and let the tomatoes cool. Then, using a fine sieve, rub the tomatoes. Prepare the plums in the same way. Combine tomato juice with grated plums, add vegetable oil and leave to simmer for another two hours. Try to make the fire as small as possible.
Step 3
While the base for the future ketchup is boiling, prepare the rest of the ingredients. Chop the garlic and onion in a blender. Add to ketchup and simmer for another hour. Pour salt, red pepper and suneli hops into the ketchup. After thirty minutes, remove from heat and cover in jars, which are best prepared for preservation in advance. Spicy tomato ketchup and plums are ready. Wrap up the jars and then send them to the basement.
