The easiest and fastest recipe for making cabbage is lazy cabbage rolls - cabbage stuffed with meat and rice. To prepare them you will need:

- medium cabbage forks;

- a little more than half a kilo of minced meat;

- 100 grams of already boiled rice;

- two onion heads;

- vegetable oil;

- parsley and dill;

- ground black pepper;

- salt.

It is necessary to remove the upper leaves from the cabbage, which are no longer suitable for cooking. Then boil the head of cabbage for 20 minutes, remembering to add salt. Then cool the cabbage. Stir the minced meat, boiled rice, finely chopped onions and herbs. Season the resulting mixture with salt and pepper.

In a colander, you need to lay gauze and put cabbage leaves there, which were separated from the cooled head of cabbage and smeared with cooked minced meat. Then the edges of the gauze are lifted and gathered into one knot. It is necessary that the excess liquid glass, after which the gauze is removed, and the cabbage is laid out on a baking sheet. The top of the cabbage should be lightly greased with vegetable oil.

The oven must be warmed up to 180 degrees and only then should the dish be put into it. It will bake for 45 minutes.

Stuffed cabbage can be paired with a sauce made from melted butter, lemon juice, parsley and chopped walnuts.

Another equally popular recipe is cabbage stuffed with cheese and vegetables. To prepare this delicious dish you need to take:

- medium sized cabbage forks;

- a tomato;

- carrot;

- 150 gr Adyghe cheese or feta cheese;

- 100 gr hard cheese;

- slightly less than a spoonful of tea salt;

- ground black pepper;

- various spices;

- sour cream.

To make it more convenient to stuff, it is better to take young cabbage. When boiled, its leaves open better. The old head of cabbage will take longer to cook until it becomes soft.

In a saucepan with salted boiling water, you need to lower the forks of young cabbage, cut in half. Then cover the pan and leave to cool. Grate carrots or cut into strips. Chop the tomatoes into small slices, soft cheese into cubes.

Completely cooled cabbage should be put in a colander and squeezed well. The next step is to lay the filling. You need to bend two leaves and put inside several slices of tomato, carrot, cheese and sprigs of herbs. This procedure is repeated until the cabbage leaves run out.

Then the stuffed head of cabbage is poured with salted and peppery sour cream. In this form, it must be sent to a baking sheet, previously greased with vegetable oil, and then sprinkled with grated hard cheese. Bake in the oven for about an hour at 180 degrees. You need to keep an eye on the dish: the appearance of a blush will indicate that the cabbage is ready. The dish should be hot when serving.

Cooking stuffed cabbage is easier than cooking schnitzel or cabbage rolls. And you can stuff a head of cabbage not only with the products specified in the recipe, but also with other quickly prepared vegetables.

White cabbage is a versatile vegetable that can be used in hundreds of different dishes. It can be served raw, sauerkraut, stewed or baked. But, perhaps, the most delicious is the stuffed cabbage baked in the oven.
