As you know, cutlets can be prepared not only from minced meat, but also from various cereals and vegetables. Cabbage cutlets are an excellent alternative to meat cutlets, because they are not only tasty, but also healthy.
Ingredients for making cabbage cutlets:
- 1 kg of fresh white cabbage;
- 1 head of white onion;
- 1/2 cup semolina;
- 1/2 cup of any flour (in addition to wheat, you can use flaxseed, rye or oat flour);
- ready-made bread crumbs;
- garlic;
- dill greens;
- salt, vegetable oil.
Cooking cabbage cutlets
1. Cut the cabbage forks into 4 pieces and cook in salted water for about 10 minutes.
2. After boiling, cool the cabbage and squeeze out the excess liquid.
3. Pass the cabbage through a meat grinder or chop with a blender, squeeze the juice again.
4. Finely grate the onion or chop very finely.
5. Grind a couple of garlic cloves in a special press.
6. Mix cabbage with chopped onions and garlic, add finely chopped dill.
7. Then salt and pepper the prepared mass to taste.
8. Then add semolina and flour, mix well.
9. Form cutlets of the desired size, roll each in breading.
10. Fry in oil in a hot skillet on both sides until a crust appears.
You can serve such cutlets both hot and already cooled. You can supplement the dish with sour cream, mayonnaise or any delicious sauce, herbs.
