Step 2

Cut the meat into medium squares. Rinse the sauerkraut a little, squeeze.

Step 4

Then add the meat to the skillet. Set the fire to maximum and stirring continuously, fry the mixture for about 7 minutes.

Step 5

Then reduce heat to almost minimum and put sauerkraut in a saucepan. Mix everything well and simmer for 20 minutes. Then add fresh cabbage and mix well again.

Step 6

Season with salt, pepper, spices to your liking. Put to stew on a small light for 1, 5-2 hours. Add chopped tomato or tomato paste, bay leaf 20 minutes before cooking. As soon as the cabbage is ready, turn off the heat and let it brew for another 15-20 minutes in a skillet closed with a lid. The cabbage turns out to be very tender, juicy, and most importantly healthy. This dish goes well with potatoes for a side dish.

Step 7

Recipe 2. Stewed Brussels sprouts with chicken breasts. Rinse the chicken breasts thoroughly. Cut across the grain into small strips.

Step 8

Peel, wash and drain the cabbage. Peel the onion, wash and cut into half rings. Grate the carrots on a fine grater. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces.

Step 9

Pour oil into a frying pan, add chicken, salt, add a little curry and fry until golden brown. Then put on a separate plate.

Step 10

In the oil that remains after frying the chicken, first put the onion and simmer until golden brown, the main thing is not to let it burn. Then add the carrots and simmer for another 5 minutes. Then the tomatoes, mix everything well and keep on fire for a few minutes. Put the sautéed vegetables on a separate plate.

Step 11

Take a clean skillet, add oil and cabbage. Fry it slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Salt, pepper, add spices. Keep on fire for 5 minutes.

Step 12

Put the breasts in the cabbage first, then the vegetables. Mix everything well, add 100 ml of water. Close the lid tightly and simmer on the smallest flame for 35-40 minutes. 10 minutes before cooking, open the lid and add bay leaves and chopped herbs.

Step 13

Put the finished dish on portioned plates, add the side dish and garnish with a sprig of fresh herbs. The dish tastes delicious. To please even the fastidious, which does not prefer any sort of cabbage.
