Instructions

Step 1

Tequila, martini, whiskey and a variety of cocktails based on these drinks can be used as a starter with olives, avocados and tomatoes. To do this, peel the avocado, cut into small pieces and string on skewers, then add a thin slice of lime or lemon, cherry tomato and olive.

Step 2

Shrimp appetizer is perfect for white wine. To cook it, boil the shrimp in salted water until tender, then cool and peel. String one end of the shrimp and a slice of lemon onto the skewer, then the olive and the other end of the lemon and shrimp. When serving, garnish this appetizer with fresh dill sprigs.

Step 3

A Mediterranean snack with olives will also harmonize with white wine. Simply string a cube of suluguni, feta, or a mozzarella ball onto skewers, then add a slice of cucumber, cherry tomato and olive to it.

Step 4

For a more filling snack, you can make canapes with sesame buns. To do this, cut the zucchini, tomato, mushrooms and eggplant into thin slices, sprinkle everything with olive oil and fry over high heat. Then refrigerate. Cut the bun lengthwise into two and fry until golden brown. Brush with a mixture of mayonnaise, herbs and unsweetened yogurt, place the fried mixture, olives and slices of mozzarella into one part. Cover with the second part of the bun, pierce with skewers and cut into several pieces.

Step 5

For tequila, beer or white wine, you can prepare tapenade - a paste made from olives, anchovies, herbs and capers. To do this, grind olives, anchovies, parsley, capers and garlic in a mortar. Add olive oil and chili sauce to this mass, salt and pepper, stir thoroughly. Serve this appetizer with toasted baguette slices, chips, or thin tortillas.

Step 6

You can also serve pickled olives with pita bread or Italian bread. To prepare them, combine olives, rosemary and thyme, lemon juice, finely chopped garlic, olive oil and black pepper in a ceramic or glass dish. Then cover and refrigerate for a day, stirring from time to time.

Step 7

A puff pastry snack with olives is perfect for beer. Divide the puff pastry into small balls, flatten them with your hand, put a pitted olive inside, wrap the dough around the filling and form a ball out of it. Dip it in sesame seeds or grated cheese and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 ° C.
