- salt, pepper (to taste).

Wash the carrots, peel and chop into strips. Wash cucumbers and tomatoes, peel and cut into small wedges. Chop the white cabbage into strips, then salt and remember a little with your hands. Lettuce leaves can be used instead of cabbage.

Combine all the ingredients of the salad in a salad bowl, season with salt and pepper to your liking, stir and cover with olive oil. The salad can be garnished with sprigs of herbs such as parsley or dill and then served. The energy value of 100 g of this salad is about 82 kcal.

Greek salad with olive oil

Very often, we associate olive oil with sunny Greece, which is no coincidence, because it was the Greeks who appreciated and brought into cooking the beneficial properties and taste of olive oil. This vegetable salad turns out to be light, but at the same time satisfying due to the content of Feta cheese. You will need:

- sweet bell pepper - 2 pcs.;

- tomatoes - 2 pcs.;

- cucumbers - 3 pcs.;

- onions - 1 pc.;

- lettuce leaves - 6 pcs.;

- 100 olives;

- 400 g of Feta cheese;

- parsley;

- salt (to taste).

Wash the bell peppers, remove the seeds, core and tail, then cut into large cubes. Wash the tomatoes, pour boiling water over so that you can easily remove the skin, also cut into large cubes.

Prepare the herbs: finely chop the parsley, chop the onions, cut the lettuce into small strips.

Feta cheese must be cut into small squares.

Now you can combine all the ingredients in a salad bowl, salt to taste and season with olive oil. The Greek salad with olive oil is completely ready.

Vegetable salad with olive oil and shrimps

Vegetable salad combined with seafood will leave you feeling full. Shrimp are high in protein, low in fat and carbohydrates. You will need:

- 700 g of king prawns;

- lettuce leaves;

- 100 g of arugula;

- 200 g cherry tomatoes;

- 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice;

- 2 tbsp. l. olive oil;

- salt (to taste).

Peel the king prawns, rinse and boil in boiling water for about 8-10 minutes, then they will turn out tender and juicy. Also, shrimps can be fried in vegetable oil for no more than 4-5 minutes, and they will become crispy. Remember to stir the shrimp constantly. Never fry the shrimp for more than 5 minutes, otherwise they may come out overcooked and tough.

Cut the lettuce leaves into small strips, remember with your hands, mix with finely chopped arugula.

Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut each in half. For a beautiful salad, use red and yellow tomatoes.

Mix all the ingredients of the salad, add a little lemon juice, salt and season with olive oil. Bon Appetit!
