Fish must be included in the diet, but only selectively. Mahi-mahi or golden mackerel
This fish can cause serious allergies. It is large, very bright, with unusual scales of a golden hue. It picks up mahi-mahi in the Mediterranean Sea, in the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian oceans. Its official name is golden mackerel. There are a lot of such fish near the Canary Islands. It is nutritious, tasty, therefore it has found application in cooking. It can be fried, baked, pickled, but people suffering from allergic reactions are not recommended to eat golden mackerel. Immediately after catching, it must be cooled or frozen. If this is not done, the process of decomposition of the amino acid histamine into histidine and other components begins. In such large quantities, histidine is dangerous. A rash, skin redness, and other signs of allergies, including anaphylactic shock, may appear.
Escolar or butterfish
The gourmet gray mackerel or escolar is a pelagic fish of open oceanic spaces. In appearance, it resembles tuna. It is also called butterfish because of its high fatty acid content in meat. Escolar also contains gempilotoxin, which gives delicacies such a juicy buttery taste and texture. The fish is incredibly tasty, but you can eat it only in small portions and rarely. Hempilotoxin causes one of the most severe forms of diarrhea in humans. High fat content is also not good for your health. The advantages of fish include the low content of heavy metals and other pollutants in it. Delicious mackerel is found only in very clear waters. In others, she simply does not survive.
Swordfish
This fish is loved to be served in expensive restaurants. It is suitable for the preparation of many delicacies due to its very pleasant taste and almost complete absence of bones. But with its use in food, you need to be careful. You can eat it only in small portions no more than once a month, but this is on condition that other foods do not enter the diet, which contain a lot of heavy metal salts. Swordfish contains high levels of mercury. Its meat also contains neurotoxins, which are very dangerous for humans. It is contraindicated to give such fish to children. Elderly people, pregnant women, as well as those who suffer from cardiovascular diseases should also refuse it.
Tilapia
This fish is popular due to its low price. It is also called "ditch catfish" or sea chicken. Tilapia is found in almost all waters, including the dirtiest ones. It feeds on any organic waste. With low calorie values, such a product can be very contaminated and pose a threat to health. It is not possible to find out the origin of the fish upon purchase. It takes about 40 years for this fish to reach the biological maturity stage. Atlantic Bighead lives off the coast of Chile. Recently, the population of this species has greatly decreased. Atlantic flounder

Especially dangerous is the fish that is found near the Atlantic coast from the United States. Flounder, which lives in other waters, can be eaten, but little by little.
Shark
Shark meat is edible and considered a delicacy. At the same time, it is still not recommended to eat it. It accumulates salts of heavy metals. Their content can be so high that a person is able to experience breathing problems, face the appearance of seizures. These are all signs of poisoning. Shark meat contains a lot of urea, which gives it an unpleasant odor. If the product is improperly prepared (not soaked in salt water), it will be completely unusable. The meat has a red tint on the sides. It is the most harmful. Not only salts of heavy metals accumulate there, but also parasites.
