The Queen of Sheba cake is a French cuisine dish. The delicacy turns out to be tasty, tender and moderately sweet. Soaked in chocolate glaze and sprinkled with grated chocolate on top.
It is necessary
- - 4 eggs
- - 50 g rice flour
- - 300 g of chocolate
- - 70 g walnuts
- - 150 g butter
- - 100 g granulated sugar
- - 3 tbsp. l. cognac
- - 1 tsp. baking powder
Instructions
Step 1
First, combine the granulated sugar, butter and dark chocolate. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth. Then remove from heat.
Step 2
Beat the whites in a mixer until foaming. In a small stream, add the yolks, baking powder, flour, whipped whites to the mass and mix everything well.
Step 3
Grease a baking dish with butter and pour over the mixture. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 40-50 minutes.
Step 4
Prepare the icing. Mix butter, 100 g of dark chocolate, put on fire and cook, stirring occasionally, until smooth. Remove from heat, add 3 tbsp. l. liqueur or brandy.
Step 5
Grate 50 g of dark chocolate. Grind the nuts in a blender.
Step 6
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes. Brush it with icing, sprinkle with chocolate on top and sides.
Step 7
Serve warm or hot.
