Honey or mead is an ancient folk drink. There are many varieties of it: watermelon, Scandinavian, English, old Russian, cranberry. Let's figure out how to make linden honey.

- honey (500 g);
- water (2 glasses);
- hops (10 g);
- linden blossom (15 g);
- vodka (2-3 tablespoons);
- yeast.
Instructions
Step 1
Put 500 g of honey in a small metal saucepan, pour a little water into it and stir. Pour boiling water over honey, put on fire and cook for an hour. The total amount of water should be two glasses.
Step 2
After an hour, remove the pan from the heat and let the solution cool. Just do not put it in the refrigerator for this, you need to cool it at room temperature. The most you can do is put the pot of honey on the windowsill.
Step 3
Take yeast and dissolve it in sweet water, after about an hour, bubbles will begin to stand out - this will mean that the yeast is ready. When the honey has cooled, add the prepared solution to it, stir well, cover with a towel and leave for three to four days.
Step 4
When honey is infused, pour 3-4 tablespoons of vodka into it and add hops and lime blossom. Let the drink sit for another three days.
Step 5
After three days, strain the drink with cheesecloth and leave to ferment for several days.
Step 6
Pour the honey into a wooden barrel and refrigerate for four to five months. After four to five months, the drink will be ready to drink. Mead can be used simply as an intoxicating drink, or it can be used to treat colds and other diseases.
