Banana is one of the most popular overseas fruits that has stuck well on our table. It is appreciated for its delicate unique taste, as well as for the high content of vitamins and microelements that are so necessary for the human body. There are several options for serving bananas on a festive or everyday table.

Step 1
Rinse the fruit to be served as a dessert thoroughly under cool running water. Dry the fruit by spreading it out on a napkin or kitchen towel.

Serve unpeeled bananas if you plan to decorate your meal with a large fruit plate or basket. Arrange fruit nicely on a platter or vase by placing it next to other brightly colored fruits like oranges, grapes, strawberries and pineapple.

Take bananas with peels with your hands and bite off in small pieces, peeling up to half. If there are special fruit utensils on the table (a small plate, fork and knife), the bananas must be completely peeled off. Then put on a dessert plate and eat with a knife and fork. Leave the rind on the edge of the plate.

You can serve slices of peeled banana on the table. Cut it just before serving. Peel the fruit and cut it obliquely into fairly large rings. If the pieces are thin, they will quickly lose their shape and spread over the plate. And it is rather difficult to take such miniature slices. To prevent the peeled banana from turning black, sprinkle it with lemon juice. Banana slices are also best served in combination with other fruit slices (oranges, kiwi, red apples). To make it easier for guests to transfer the sliced fruit to their plates, insert a canapé skewer into each slice.

If you want to surprise your guests with an unusual dessert, cook chocolate-covered bananas. Fry the almonds in a skillet until golden brown. Melt a bar of milk chocolate in a water bath. Peel and cut the bananas into quarters. Dip the chunks in chocolate and then roll in shavings. Place the dessert on the parchment and wait for the chocolate to harden. Stick skewers into the banana slices and serve, garnish with almonds.
