Most of us have heard that for the body to function properly, you need to drink at least two liters of fluid per day. Many people mistakenly believe that any liquid will benefit the body.
As you know, drinks do not consist entirely of water, but contain a certain percentage of it. But not every liquid restores water balance; most drinks lead to dehydration.
Caffeinated drinks
Tea and coffee are favorite drinks of most people on our planet. In the morning, to cheer up, many drink a cup or two of a strong aromatic drink. As it turns out, in vain, because drinking with a high caffeine content provokes the leaching of fluid from the cells, and, as a result, constant fatigue, reduced immunity, and an earthy complexion. If you can't give up caffeine, you need to drink a glass of clean drinking water 20 minutes after drinking.
Alcohol
Even children know about the dangers of alcoholic beverages. Alcohol also dehydrates the body through its diuretic effect. In addition, most alcoholic beverages contain a huge amount of sugars, which provoke thirst and add unnecessary calories to the body.
Sweet carbonated drinks
Soda and energy drinks also contain caffeine. It has a strong diuretic effect, which means it removes water from the human body and promotes dehydration. The brain "asks" for water, giving signals to the stomach. Many people mistake this feeling for hunger and eat food, thereby only exacerbating the situation.
Every day, about 2.5 liters of liquid is excreted from the human body, and the water balance can only be replenished with pure non-carbonated water.
