- salt (3 tablespoons);
- black pepper (peas) - 4-5 pcs;
- cloves (in buds) - 4-5 pcs;
- ginger (ground; small pinch);
- bay leaf (3-4 pcs.).
Instructions
Step 1
Take a cup of water, dip the fish into it and rinse well.
Step 2
Cut the sprat. Remove the head and entrails.
Step 3
Rinse the cut fish again. Let the water drain.
Step 4
Take the spices, rub them not very finely. Mix the spices with salt.
Step 5
Sprinkle the sprat with the pickling mixture. Stir the sprat from bottom to top.
Step 6
Take an enamel bowl and transfer the fish to it.
Step 7
Cover the sprat with a plate. Place a light weight on top. Put in the refrigerator for a while.
Step 8
Remove the cooked salted sprat after 12 hours. The fish is ready!
