Milk tea is a traditional drink of the English aristocracy. And recently, interest in it has been fueled by the emergence of a large number of diets, the basis of which is the use of tea with milk. How to prepare this noble drink for the health of the soul and body?
It is necessary
- - tea,
- - milk,
- - sugar to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare tea. In order to properly prepare tea, it is necessary to warm the teapot (or cup) with boiling water just before adding the tea leaves. Add the tea leaves to the heated teapot following the old English rule of "one teaspoon of dry tea leaves for each cup, plus one teaspoon for the teapot." Then add boiling water, stir and leave for 5 - 7 minutes.
Step 2
Heat the milk. While the tea leaves are brewing, take raw pasteurized milk and bring it to a temperature of 40-60 degrees. This is the optimal temperature, because if you want to add boiling milk to your tea, then a froth will form on the surface of the drink, which most people do not like from childhood memories.
Step 3
Pour about two-thirds of the tea into a cup and add one-third of the milk. Of course, the proportions can be purely individual, but the 2 to 1 ratio is a kind of standard in the recipe for making tea with milk.
Step 4
Add sugar to taste. Actually, the use of various additives to the main ingredients is not necessary. Many true connoisseurs of tea prefer to do without adding unnecessary products, as they believe that they destroy the delicate bouquet of taste. You yourself can decide which side to take in this matter.
