Chops are a very tasty and satisfying dish that is suitable not only for an everyday family dinner, but also for a festive party with guests. Cooking chops is not at all difficult, the main thing is to make the marinade correctly.
Ingredients
In order to marinate the most delicate and delicious chops that will appeal to all your family and guests, you will need:
- about 700 grams of fresh pork. The meat should be chosen by color, the closer its color is to pink, the younger, tastier and juicier it is;
You also need to pay special attention to the quality of pork - there are often veins and tendons in it, this makes it difficult to cook and creates discomfort when eating.
- a couple of eggs. Eggs should also be selected by color. The darker they are, the better and fresher they are;
- two to three tablespoons of soy sauce or lemon juice (to taste);
- spices: seasoning for meat, dry chopped garlic, salt, pepper, dry chopped parsley, about 10 bay leaves and the same amount of mint leaves. Pour all the spices in about a teaspoon, or at your will and discretion. It is better to take dried herbs, since it does not wither during the marinade process and does not lose its taste and smell;
- one large onion;
- an average package of mayonnaise sauce or a small package of sour cream - optional.
Cooking method
Take a deep bowl and put 5 sheets of lavrushka and mint on the bottom, alternately. Rinse the meat well under warm water, dry it through a sieve and cut into small portions. Beat the pork thoroughly on both sides with a special hammer, then put in a bowl.
Add eggs to the meat, mix this mixture well. You need to add all the spices to the mixed meat and eggs. First salt and pepper, then seasoning for meat, then garlic and parsley. Mix everything thoroughly.
Pour mayonnaise or sour cream on the meat, rub all the pieces well. The onion should be cut into large rings and added to the meat. Pour soy sauce or lemon juice over the meat, but do not stir. top with the remaining lavrushka and mint leaves.
Put the finished marinade in the refrigerator for about an hour. Then you need to take it out and let it stand warm for another hour. Then start cooking right away. Chops can be breaded with flour or breadcrumbs, if desired, and fried in a preheated skillet. Frying in butter or fat will give the chops a special taste.
Chops are best served to the table, as they say, with the heat - with the heat. You should not disdain the juice released from the meat, as it is very tasty.
