It is widely believed by modern nutritionists that all strong chicken and meat broths are harmful. Therefore, it is important to understand what are the reasons for such conclusions.

Is strong broth so harmful?

For a long time, the broth was intended for heat treatment of a piece of meat. Even primitive people at the dawn of civilization compensated for energy costs with fatty and hearty food. Since food was obtained with great difficulty, it was impossible to imagine the use of meat alone, without the broth obtained during its preparation. A modern person no longer needs to get food for himself by active labor. But, since a person is accustomed to the taste of meat, he cannot arbitrarily refuse rich broths.

Why are broths not good for you?

Scientists have long proved the fact that the extractive substances that enter the broth during its cooking only further burden the liver and create an increased load on the digestive system. Any broth - from light chicken to fatty pork or lamb - contains numerous chemicals. They are especially dangerous for blood diseases, as well as for joint problems. All substances that are used to process meat at an industrial level inevitably end up in the broth during its preparation. This is how growth hormones, antibiotics and a wide variety of preservatives appear in the soup.

Which broth is the most harmful

A record amount of unwanted and completely non-beneficial substances for the human body is found in bone broth. Dangerous compounds of arsenic and mercury accumulate in bone tissues, and it is in them that metal salts are present. The thicker and the more concentrated the meat broth, the more harmful it is. But on the other hand, meat cooked in broth is very useful, as it becomes free from excess fat and extraneous additives. Such meat is recommended as a diet food for both adults and young children.

Is there any benefit in broth?

But still, do not despair. Broths, familiar to us from childhood, contain much less harmful substances if prepared according to all culinary rules and from high-quality meat. At all times, infirm patients were sealed with chicken breast broths, so they can hardly be called harmful. Diet meat broths are indicated for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. With physical exhaustion, anemia, low acidity and chronic gastritis, concentrated beef broths are good.

You shouldn't give up soups altogether. Vegetable soups can replace meat broths. They contain a lot of nutrients and vitamins. In the complete absence of harmful animal fat, vegetable broths cannot be contraindicated to anyone.
