Perhaps each of us remembers the taste of pancakes that we once ate in kindergarten. Incredibly fluffy, ruddy and very tasty pancakes are a dish that can be prepared even now, and its taste will be no worse than pancakes "from childhood".
If you decide to pamper your loved ones with lush pancakes, then you need to take into account that preparing and raising the dough for this baking takes a lot of time, so start cooking it two hours before the intended meal.
Lush pancakes with yeast: a recipe
You will need:
- 500 grams of premium wheat flour;
- two chicken eggs;
- two glasses of warm milk (if not, you can also use water);
- ½ tablespoon dry yeast;
- two tablespoons of sugar;
- ½ teaspoon of salt;
- 50 ml of vegetable oil;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Take a deep enamel pan, pour milk into it (always warm, in this case the dough will rise faster, the maximum milk temperature is 40 degrees), add all the yeast and stir. Add flour little by little to the mixture and stir well so that the dough comes out without lumps.
As soon as all the flour is poured in and the dough has the consistency of thick sour cream, close the pan with a lid, wrap it up and put in a warm place for 30-40 minutes. After the specified time has elapsed, add the remaining ingredients (salt, sugar, butter, eggs) to the risen dough and mix. Again, remove the pan in a warm place, but for 15 minutes already (this will be enough, during this time the dough will rise approximately twice).
As soon as the dough rises a second time, you can start frying the pancakes. To do this, put the pan over medium heat, add a little oil to it, then take the dough with a tablespoon and put it in the pan. Fry the pancakes on each side for about two minutes.
Ready-made pancakes can be served with jam, and sour cream, and condensed milk, and ghee, etc., it all depends on the taste preferences of your family.
