And it's very easy - just make a semolina casserole according to this recipe! And cherry sauce will complement the tenderness and aromatic taste of this wonderful casserole!

  • Ingredients for the casserole:
  • Milk - 375 ml
  • Butter - 40 gr.
  • Vanilla sugar - 5 gr.
  • Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Semolina - 75 gr.
  • Seedless raisins - 40 gr.
  • Egg yolks - 70 gr.
  • Egg whites - 110 gr.
  • Sugar - 75 gr.
  • Ingredients for the sauce:
  • 300 gr. frozen cherries (defrost)
  • 40 gr. Sahara
  • 150 ml. cherry juice
  • 30 gr. butter
  • 30 ml. cherry liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon starch

Instructions

Step 1

Boil the milk and add vanilla sugar, butter and a teaspoon of lemon zest to it. Stir carefully and slowly add semolina into the milk. After that, remove the pan from the stove and leave the semolina to swell.

Step 2

Add raisins and egg yolks to the swollen and cooled semolina. Beat everything with a mixer. Beat the whites with sugar and add to the semolina, mix everything with a mixer until smooth. Next, put on a baking sheet and put in the oven to bake at 160 degrees for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.

Step 3

To make the sauce, you need to pour sugar into the pan and melt it. Add oil, half a glass of cherry juice and mix everything. Add the starch to the remaining cherry juice and pour into the pan. Add liqueur and whole cherries there. Mix everything.

Serve the casserole in small square pieces and drizzle with a little cherry sauce. Bon Appetit!
