Forshmak is suitable for your festive table as a snack for alcoholic drinks and will please all guests. Herring appetizer does not take long to prepare, but it turns out to be very tasty and satisfying.
It is necessary
- - 5-10 g mustard
- - 50-60 g of onions
- - 3 hard boiled eggs
- - 10-15 ml of vegetable oil
- - 230-240 g potatoes
- - 5-10 ml of vinegar
- - 2 apples
- - 2 allspice peas
- - 300-400 g of light-salted herring fillet
- - 3 black peppercorns
- - 240-260 ml of milk
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the potatoes, cut into pieces, and boil in boiling, salted water until tender. Pour the water, transfer the potatoes to a blender glass, add lukewarm milk and chop in mashed potatoes.
Step 2
Peel the eggs, cut into two parts. Remove the yolks and transfer to a blender glass. Add mustard, vinegar, vegetable oil, freshly ground black and allspice. Whisk the ingredients until smooth.
Step 3
Peel the apples, cut the pulp into small cubes, removing the core. Peel the onion and chop coarsely. Also cut the fish coarsely.
Step 4
Chop fish pieces, apples, onions and leftover egg whites. Add the crushed yolks and potatoes to the resulting mixture, mix well.
Step 5
Transfer the prepared forshmak to a plastic bowl, cover and place in the cold. Place the dish in a salad bowl before serving.
