Forshmak is a kind of snack. The dish is a pate made from fish or meat with the addition of additional ingredients. Forshmak is used, as a rule, with bread, bread or croutons.

Step 1

Remove the crust from several slices of wheat bread. Soak the pulp in warm boiled water, and then mash thoroughly into a gruel.

Mix apples, herring fillets and bread in one container. You can re-skip the entire mixture through a meat grinder.
Step 4
Add black pepper, a small amount of apple cider vinegar and softened butter to the resulting pate. Mix the ingredients into a homogeneous mass.
