With wild berries, wonderful pastries are obtained - homemade, fragrant, tender. We present you a recipe for a Finnish pie with fresh blueberries. If it's problematic to get fresh berries, frozen ones will do.
It is necessary
- - 200 g sour cream;
- - 150 g of blueberries, flour;
- - 100 g of cottage cheese, butter;
- - 75 g of sugar;
- - 50 g of almonds;
- - 3 yolks;
- - 1 egg;
- - vanillin, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
For the dough, chop the chilled butter with flour, cottage cheese, chopped almonds and a pinch of salt with a knife. We will get chopped dough, beat an egg into it, mix thoroughly.
Step 2
Cover the baking dish with baking paper, put the finished dough in it, form small sides, pierce with a fork in several places and put it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to cool.
Step 3
Prepare the filling: mix sour cream with egg yolks, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Instead of vanillin, vanilla sugar is also suitable - it is needed to give a special flavor to the finished cake.
Step 4
Pour the resulting filling onto the chilled dough in a mold, top with fresh or frozen blueberries. If the berries are frozen, they do not need to be defrosted beforehand.
Step 5
Put the pie in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, bake for 30-40 minutes. Of course, you need to be guided by your oven and the size of the mold (the time indicated is approximate for a mold with a diameter of 23 centimeters). A thickened filling is a sign that the pie is ready.
Step 6
Allow the Finnish Blueberry Pie to cool down before removing the baked goods from the pan and slicing them into portions. This rule applies to any other berry pie.
