To keep the meat out of the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days, prepare the solution: 1 tsp. salicylic acid in 500 ml of water. Wrap the washed meat in a cloth soaked in the indicated solution. It is impossible to put in the bag, it is better to arrange the blanks in containers.

Meat soaked in milk can be stored for up to 7 days. Already after 4 hours the milk will curdle, creating a "fur coat", this will serve as a kind of vacuum packaging for the product.

Make a jerky - hold the slices over the fire until they form a dry crust. Pull the pieces together with twine and hang in a draft.

Step 5

The old hunting trick will allow the bird to be kept out of the refrigerator for up to 7 days - soak a clean towel with vinegar and wrap the bird in it. As the towel dries, soak it again in the vinegar.

Step 6

Fresh fish is stored outside the refrigerator only peeled and gutted. Do not wash it during preparation, wipe it off with napkins. Then generously rub the fish with salt, wrap it in cheesecloth and hang in a draft.
