Eggplants are fruits that can be used to make many delicious dishes. They go well with many vegetables and various foods, such as cheese, meat, ham. Stuffed eggplant is very tasty.
Eggplant stuffed with ham and cheese, cooked in the oven
For this dish, you will need the following ingredients:
- 3 eggplants
- 250 g ham
- 150 g of any hard cheese
- 2 onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 5-6 st. l. vegetable oil
- a couple of pinches of ground black pepper, or to taste
- salt to taste
Cooking stuffed eggplant
- To prepare this mouth-watering dish, you should take 3 main ingredients - eggplant, cheese and ham. It is better to take long and young eggplants. You should not take too large fruits. Wash vegetables well. Cut lengthwise into 2 pieces. Scrape out the middle with a teaspoon, making a boat out of the eggplant. This should be done as carefully as possible so as not to damage the walls of the fetus.
- Cut the eggplant pulp, which was removed from the fruit, into cubes. Peel the onion and also cut into cubes. Fry the eggplant pulp with onion in vegetable oil.
- While vegetables are fried, cut the ham into cubes too. Cut the tomatoes in the same way and send them to the eggplant in the pan.
- Heat all ingredients in a pan for about 2-3 minutes. Add pepper and salt. Mix well.
- Cover the baking sheet with parchment or foil. Fill the eggplant boats with cooked minced meat. Place on a baking sheet, sprinkle generously and evenly with cheese. Grate the cheese beforehand.
- Place a baking sheet with stuffed eggplants in a hot oven (190 ° C) for 40-50 minutes.
- After the time has elapsed, remove the stuffed eggplant from the oven. Place on a plate (dish). Serve hot.
Eggplant stuffed with minced meat
Any minced meat is suitable for this dish.
You need to take:
- 3-4 large young eggplants
- salt
For minced meat:
- 500 g beef fillet
- 3 onions
- 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
- 50 ml cream
- eggplant pulp
- 250 g hard cheese
- 3-4 tomatoes
- spices and salt to taste
Preparation
- Wash the eggplants. Cut lengthwise into two pieces. Cut the pulp with a knife in several places and salt so that the fruit gives juice. Leave for 20-30 minutes.
- After the specified time, drain the water that has come out from the eggplants and send them to the oven for 10 minutes, so that the pulp becomes soft. Cool and cut out the pulp, leaving a wall with a little pulp. Chop with a knife.
- Prepare minced meat by adding onion and cream to it. Fry together with eggplant pulp in a pan for 5-10 minutes. Add spices and salt to taste.
- Stuff the cooked boats with minced meat. Sprinkle generously with chopped tomatoes and then pre-grated cheese.
- Place the stuffed eggplant on a baking sheet or baking dish. Put in the oven (180C) for 20-30 minutes. The cheese crust should be well browned.
