Lamb stew with vegetables is an aromatic, nutritious and delicious dish. The more you stew the meat, the softer and tastier it will be. It is advisable to soak the meat for an hour in water with the addition of lemon juice before stewing.

    • 1 kg. mutton
    • 5 medium onions
    • 1.5 heads of garlic
    • 1 carrot
    • 3 potatoes
    • 3 tomatoes
    • ground black pepper
    • coriander
    • hops-suneli
    • salt
    • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the lamb and cut into pieces. Place the meat in the cauldron.

Step 2

Peel the onion and garlic. Set aside half of the onion and cut into half rings.

Salt and pepper the meat, add suneli hops and coriander to taste.

Toss and add whole onions and garlic cloves.

Step 5

Cover the cauldron with a lid and set on low heat.

Simmer for 1.5 hours.

Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes, approximately the size of the pieces of meat.

Peel the tomatoes off. To do this, release the fruits into boiling water for 1 second, and then into cold water - the skin will easily come off. Cut the tomato into slices.

Saute the chopped onion until transparent. Add the tomatoes to the onion and fry for 5 minutes.

After 1, 5 hours, try the sauce resulting from stewing meat, add salt if necessary, then add potatoes to the meat. Add water if necessary.

Simmer for another 15-20 minutes.

Then add the onion and tomatoes to the dish.

Bring to readiness for 5-7 minutes.

Arrange the finished dish in portions and sprinkle with herbs.
