Closer to autumn, when the ripeness of apples reaches its peak, many housewives are pondering on the topic of how to cook more delicious things with this ubiquitous fruit. For myself, I found a great way - an apple pie without eggs.
It is necessary
- Flour - one glass
- Semolina - 1 glass
- Sugar - half a glass
- Apples - 1 kg
- Butter - 150-200 gr
- Cinnamon - optional
- Vanillin - optional
- Baking powder - optional

Step 1
The first thing we need to do to bake this cake is to mix dry foods: flour, semolina, sugar. To this we add cinnamon, vanillin, baking powder (the cake hardly even rises with it, so I don't see the need for it, but it was in the original recipe).
This is how our dough looks unusual.

Next, rub the apples on a coarse grater. Ideally, they need to be peeled and cored, but I often rub with the peel - this does not affect the taste and quality of the cake, the whole peel is well baked in the oven.
If you like sweeter pies, sprinkle the apples with sugar of your choice.
Step 3
The next step is to grease the baking dish with butter.

And we begin to lay out the layers of our pie.
The first layer is dry, about 0.5 cm.
Then apples - there is a larger layer, about 1 cm.
And so on until the very end, until we run out of ingredients.
Important! We start with a dry layer and finish with a dry one too.
Step 5
Put butter in small slices on the last layer. You can freeze it in the freezer in advance, then grate and "sprinkle" on top with finer crumbs. But the slices also melt very well and give the top of the pie an interesting pattern.
Step 6
Next, we put our pie in a preheated oven for 40-60 minutes. Do not be afraid of the high temperature, this is a fairly juicy cake, it burns hard, but the top dry layer should bake well. I choose a temperature of 200 degrees.
